Chilmark has authorized funding for and ordered a new Brush Breaker
similar to the one recently built by West Tisbury.  The new breaker to be
built by EJ Murphy on Freightliner chassis, expected to take approx 1 year to build.

CHILMARK NEW FIRE STATION

The new Chilmark Fire Station was opened in July 2023, on the site of the previous station, at 3 Menemsha Crossroads.
The 4 bay station provides additional space the former station did not have.
Funding for the new Fire Station and a Chilmark home for the Tri-Town Ambulance
was approximately $12.6 Million in 2022.

Chilmark Tri-Town Station

TRI-TOWN AMBULANCE

The new Tri-Town Ambulance Station was opened in 2023 at 399 Middle Road,
Chilmark. It has appropriate office, living space, and 2 bays for ambulances.
The new station was built behind the new Chilmark Fire Station.
Tri-Town Ambulance serves Aquinnah, Chilmark-and West Tisbury.

Chilmark Approves New Station

ARCHITECTS RENDERING
Voters in Chilmark approved funding of a new Fire Station and
a new EMS Station. Approx $11 Million. The old Chilmark Station
will be torn down and the new one built on the same property.
A new Tri-Town Ambulance building will also be built adjacent
to the Town Hall.
